CMX901/CMX902 Broadband RF Power Amps

04/22/2019

CML Microcircuits' CMX901 and CMX902 are three-stage, high-gain, high-efficiency RF power amps. These devices are ideal for VHF and UHF bands up to 950 MHz (CMX901) and up to 700 MHz (CMX902). The first and second stages of the amplifier operate in Class A and Class AB modes, respectively, and the third stage operates in Class C mode for maximum efficiency. The output power of the CMX902 device is 20% higher than that of the CMX901.

An external component is required to match the input and output ports of the device to 50Ω. The power amplifier is available in a small 5 mm x 5 mm, low thermal resistance 28-pin WQFN package, making it ideal for small applications such as the CMX902.
